Catch 22 is probably best known for the introduction of Tomas Kalnoky on their debut album Keasbey Nights, which is generally considered their best album. While that is a great cd and I have fond memories of listening to it in high school, I find this album Dinosaur Sounds to be easily their best work. The sound is somewhere between ska punk and this awesome smooth swingin' style that just makes every song a joy to listen to. Personally I prefer the vocal deliver of Ryan Eldred to Tomas' and overall prefer the slightly slower pace to all the songs on this album. Stand out tracks on this album are Wine Stained Lips which is just a fun song and was the first song I heard of this album and Chin Up which contain some of my favourite lyrics on this album.
